Edit; 10/11 - Looks like all is well, the site will be back asap,,, Problems with servers, etc,,, Anyhow they are working on it and I heard things should be OK...

new message appearing on homepage
BitNation Down Time Due to unforseen circumstances we have had some unplanned down-time over the weekend due to a problem with the hosting company, we have taken this time to do some much needed updates to the site and plan to be up within the next 24-48 hours. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, but we will be back and are planning some exciting new updates and layouts to the site. Signups will be open when we return as we will be looking at a rapid expansion over the coming months, as well as a freeleech period so you can catch up on everything you've missed over the past few days. If you would like to join us over at our temporary irc at irc.p2p-network.net /join #bitnation you can keep up-to-date with everything that is going on.

Bitnation is back down again (December 2 2008)---it's like the site is not even there anymore.

Note at site: Downtime- 1st December
We just experienced some downtime due to a problem with the server as we are in the progress of transitioning to a new one and took the time to do some unplanned maintenance. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Nope, I have no idea... But this noticed looks like they're having a real problem not like before with bitNation... ---> Hmm, www.bakedbits.org isn't loading right now.

"The computers that run www.bakedbits.org are having some trouble. Usually this is just a temporary problem, so you might want to try again in a few minutes."

But temporary, like you said, is running into days... I thought they would be up by now...

I guess this is why they are off and this has happened before when they were BitNation...

* ks366501.kimsufi.com returned (SERVFAIL)" and this

" Incorrect declaration

Here are examples of DNS declarations which are incorrect and will not function properly:

- with kimsufi server, do not declare:

* sdns1.ovh.net but instead: * ksXXX.kimsufi.com
* ns.kimsufi.com

- with ovh server, for a new domain, do not declare:

I could be wrong but looks like they are worried about giving correct info as I would be too... Again could completely wrong ... Just an opinion...
