I've tried the path on the "help downgrade psp 4.05" forum with the pandora v1.0 it didnt work i have almost had it wit tryin to undo that stupid upgrade an just wait till somebody hacks it if someone can give me a proven way to downgrade 4.05 on the slim,an i have had it for awhile if you can help plz do so!!!!

the CFW techniques aren't affected by 4.05... what trips them up is the new TA88 v3 motherboard...

but you said you've had it for a while so its not likely an unhackable motherboard...

i would point you to one of larry's tutorials but he deleted them all ! ! ! doh... . .. so . .. . .. . . err....

no, i no i dont have the TA88 motherboard i think i may have got it with the TA85 board, not 100% sure but is probable i hope i can get some help wit this cuz im losin patience wit it!!!

no i have bought a new battery an turned the old one into pandora from a source through another forum

anytime i try an run any pandora program i get the 80020148 error ive tried pandora deluxe v1.0 like they said, an it dont work

you are NOT suppose to run anything on the psp. anything on official firmware will throw the error.

if it came with 4.05 out of the box, you're pretty much screwed. there is no way around it.

im supposed to hold L while put in the pandora battery it doesnt do anything either no blinkin lights or anything just the power light is on can someone give me the link to making a magic memory stick on vista plz????

there's your problem; vista. most installers will only work under xp or win2000 because it requires dos support.

thats why lookin around to see if i can find someone that has done it i have found a couple but the files they have are different an there not free

if files require a payment, then it's a scam.

your best solution is to find someone with xp, and use that.

did the psp come with 4.05 out of the box? that's the most important and crucial question.
