hi some problems i need sorting if u think u can help me with 1 or all please reply thanks

1)i have some films that have lame mp3 audio i have heard that the problem is that it is compresed ? so how can i decompres it ? does it mean that the hole film is compresed or just the audio?i have heard the airtual dub will do it but what version of virtual dub should i use ?will the 1 of this site do it?and how should i go about it?once i havs decompresed it what settings should i use in tmpgenc to convert it like the audio settings like cbr 'abr and all that stuff?
2)when i converted a film in tmpgenc then authord it in tmpgenc dvd author the scene selction page was at the end of the film ?
