Hi i am about to buy the dreambox 500c, i have heard lots of good reviews about this product online, i was hoping that some kind of expert might point me in the right direction.

Can i attach a cable from my cable box to the dreambox and get all cable channels without doing this thing called flashing??

If so what is flashing?? and what or how do i do it?? i am based in Huddersfield, UK.
