Iridion II (GBA) freeze

Hi all! I am using the EZ 3-in-1 with my Cyclo Evo. When I load Iridion II (a GBA ROM) it will play until the 1st boss then it freezes. I remember there being something re: an IPS patch for this so if anyone can illucidate on this I would appreciate it. Thanks!
