Please can anyone help, I have sucessfully (well sort of) managed to back up 3 of my original wii games, however they are all coming up at 7.9 GB, is there any way I can convert these to 4.7 GB to enable me to burn onto disc.

Thanks (I am a newbie to all of this)

The only dual layer game currently is smash bros brawl, so something is not right with what you're doing.

What method are you using to back up the games? What games are you backing up?

I am trying to back up Wii Play, Sonic and the Secret Rings and M&S at the Olympics. They take about 3-4 hours to download on a LG dvd writer and once complete comes up at 7.9 GB. When downloading the disc type is saying DL.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Well I can confirm that those games are not dual layer games, so I dont know where all that extra data is coming from.

You're using the most recent rawdump?

While I may be wrong I suspect that you're using a friidump designed for smash bros and it seems to be producing a 7.9 gig iso even though the disk is only 4.7 gigs.

It's possible that you may be able to filechop the iso down to the proper size, but I honestly have no idea if that will work or not. The easiest thing for you to do might be to just download the isos. If you get the scrubbed versions they're all fairly small, I know that scrubbed wii play is only a few hundred mb.
