I was looking to upgrade the hard drive on my softmodded xbox and was wondering if I could get a recommendation in terms of size.

hello again , i have the same question . i found a seagate ST3500641ASRK 500gb ata/100 . is this going to work in an xbox ? i found it here http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=6372763 . thanks people for your help .

I used this drive in about 15 xbox's so far. Try to get a drive with 16mb cache, it will load a lot faster. These drives are dubbed "multimedia drives".

I've used maxtor 250gig, maxtor 300gig, seagate barracuda 300gig, and the western digital 500gig.
