Im going to buy another 360 and its going to be modded. I was just wondering if i bought one with a lit-on would i be able to swap it with a toshiba/samsung that i would buy offline. If not does anyone know where i can get a 360 with a falcon mobo and a toshioba samsung drive? Thanks

You can spoof the drive, so the 360 will think it's the Lite-On, but it's really a BenQ (I think). Only thing, is it's not safe online at all, when spoofing the drive. Supposedly the iXtreme Firmware is coming along for the Lite-On, so I would expect a firmware to come out soon for it...

well i was thinking about buying one offline with a toshiba or hitachi but im not having luck finding one. And i kinda want to get one soon. So where could i get a drive thats safe for flashing?

ya its tough to get a non-liteon....

i went to bestbuy recently looking at the arcade version... all the ones they had were from lot 0830 !! which if you know lot numbers is way way way too new and most definitely lite-on
