I hope this is where this topic goes. I have an ISO of Windows XP SP3 that I need to install on an old machine. Now, I have NERO 9, and a flash drive, and CD-R burner. How can I install this? I tried burning the ISO and booting it from the CD, but nothing happened. Please, some help would be so appreciated I need to get this done by tonight!! Thanks guys!!
when i tried to make a new xp disc i made many coasters because i wasnt burning it properly i followed this guide and i worked for me perfectly http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=297 .hope this is of some help to you.
tommy6 gave quite complicated method.
iso image will burn straight to cd with Nero.
It's not anything in Data section at Nero main menu
Second icon from right, 'Backup' and 'Burn Image to disc'. https://software.rutgers.edu/help/images/nero_1.png
When you look cd in windows. If you'll see one file .iso, it's data and won't work.
When it's rightly burnt you'll see many files and folders.
And autorun will launch that certain window
