I have had my PSP for like ever, and yet I havent really done anything with it. With Halloween aproaching, I have bought several scary movies and would like to share them with friends by watching them on my big screen tv. How in the world am I supposed to do that?!
I have hooked up my psp to my computer, and the movie wont play there either. If you could help me I would apreciate it so so much!

Thank you!

slim psp or chubby psp?

but due to the file size of the movies and the resolution used, they would more then likely look like *crap on a big screen tv. (opinion)

your probably better off just buying them on DVD instead of UMD.

*self edited because i wasn't sure if 1 word was inappropriate for these forums.

If you have a slim psp, there's a tv out port. You can buy a cheap cable - component preferably for HDTV's from dealextreme.com. About $7 with free shipping. BUT their free shipping is slow and probably won't arrive by Halloween.

If you have a fat psp - I think you're out of luck.

Based on the last guy's comments - I think UMD's are encoded at higher than the PSP's resolution so they'd look good on a tv. The PSP is capable of playing mp4's up to 720x480. Is that not the case with commercially produced umd's?

after reading up they are encoded at 720x480 (according to site info in 05)

i always just seemed to think that UMD's were missing frames or were slightly choppy when compared to DVD's.

but lets find out if she's got a Slim or Chubby?
