Why can't you copy it with the DVD writer?
What are some of the many programs you tried?
What errors do you get?
What brand of disc are these videos on?
What is the make and model number of your DVD writer?
What are your system specs?
What OS are you using?
This list can go on and on. You're gonna have to provide some information.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

1. I have no idea, i put the original cd on the cd-rom & the clean on the writer.
2.I've tried alto dvd burner, magic cd/dvd burner , aonic record now & i think one more which i deleted.
3. error i get, is pretty much that it looks like the original dvd its not on the cd-rom. it only plays on the writer.
4. im using office depot DVD+R 4.7g
5. my dvd writer its just on my computerr, so hp i guess.
6.systems specs?? no idea
7. I'm using my hp pc, its windows xp

sorry about my guesses & dunnos. i really havent experienced nothing involving burning dvds.

Thanks! +is

A CD-ROM will not be able to read a "DVD".. You need to copy from your DVD writer to your hard drive, then burn from the hard drive to a blank DVD..

The only way you can copy from the original in one drive to a blank in another drive is if both are DVD drives (one can just be a player and the other a writer, but both have to be DVD).

Ok, follow the instructions in this thread:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/709113#4313847

1st step gets info to your drive, 2nd step fixes any problems, 3rd step "shrinks" if needed and outputs as dvd format to be burned & 4th step burns to disc.

all programs listed are free, there are links on where to d/l the software and to a guide on how to use the programs...
