Hey everyone, I am hoping that somebody can help refresh my memory on how to burn these wii isos properly. I have tried pretty much everything lately and it seems that I just cannot remember the proper process. I am working on a Macbook pro, I am using giganews to find my games, NZB Drop to download the files for the games. Now here is where my questions come in.

1. When downloading the files there are the series of .rar files and ALSO a set of .par files. When NZB drop downloads the files to my computer it stops after it completes all of the .rar files. I can manually over-ride the program to download the .par files, but is this required?

2. When I do download both the .par files and the .rar files there now becomes TWO convert files (each will make an iso) to choose from. I am not sure which I should be using. I have tried both, but they both don't seem to work.

I feel like I am missing a step...for some reason I remember those .par files being important. I have MacPAR deluxe on my computer, and it makes me think that it was there for a reason. I remember using another program but the trial ran out, and that is why I had to get MacPar Deluxe, but what do I do with it? Most frustrating part is that I have burned games before and they work fine. I just forget the specific process to get the proper ISO taking into account both the .rar files and the .par files. If you can help...in any way it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This problem has been solved. I think by typing it out it kinda sparked my memory on how to do this. If I ever have any other wii questions though, I know this is the place to be!

Well apparently this has not been solved. It appeared like it had been, but man was I wrong. I figured out how to make the ISO properly and burned one to a disc (boom blox). I thought it was figured out because when I put in the disc, the game appeared in the wii menu box. I started up the game and my system ran the game (although making the annoying clicking sounds that many people have talked about, and still don't know how to get rid of). I played the game for a few hours...and decided it was time for a break. Then, another problem I have had (using several different kinds of discs) is that of the game not being read anymore. I have tried for over an hour now, everytime I put the disc in it says unable to read disc. This is just ridiculous. I have one of the first wii's ever released with the wiikey. Anyone know what could be going on here??? Thanks.
