Hi all! Just one fast question if anyone knows, are there one sided DVD 9's or just double sided ones and if there are where can you get them and if there aren't any of them, why not?
If you have read the FAQ, it should explain this. Recordable "generic media" DVD-9 is not possible and wont come to sale, probably ever. So, only option is to split the movies or try to shrink them to DVD-5 space (and dual-sided DVD-5 is not DVD-9, its DVD-10 actually.. :-).
Umh, can you imagine 30,000 geeks burning DVD movies to writable DVD-9 discs with their PCs in Universal Studio's cellar? Didn't think so. They press the discs, they don't burn them.
