i have been using dvd shrink for almost a year and now im having problems with it.. i tried deleting it and reinstalling it, changing the nero setting, i looked for ie8 file on my computer and nothing.. it opens the dvd fine but when i click reauthor it says that there was a problem and closes on me.. does anybody have any advice on how to get it to work again?? please help...
You have found a newer movie that shrink cannot handle.Soooooo
1) decrypt to HDD with dvdfab HD (free version)
2) process files (all) with fixvts 3) shrink files with dvd shrink, output as iso/image to HDD
4) burn iso/image file with IMgburn
If you are sure the problem did not coincide with the installation of another piece of software, uninstall DVD Shrink.
The following is only to verify that the registry settings for DVD shrink have been removed.
Click 'Start' => 'Run'
Type 'regedit' (without the quotes) and click 'ok'.
Carefully navigate down the tree to the DVD shrink folder and delete it then reinstall DVD shrink.
Note, if the folder is not present, just exit.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DVD Shrink
Note, that if you are not comfortable doing this , you can set a system restore point before proceeding and if things turn ugly, you can do a system restore to put everything back as it was.
iluvendo; i tried getting the software you told me and the dvdfab is no longer available.. any other suggestions?
