Need help with flashing Benq

Ok, I started up my PC booting to my usb stick with iprep and fw on it, with my 360 off, I get to the step where you have to turn the 360 on, I turn it on, and nothing happens, the status stays at 0x7F or wtvr forever, and nothing happens.
What should I do?

try a different sata port, make sure all other drives are unplugged IDE and SATA, you can also try re-flashing your iprep. What chipset do you have? your very close if your getting that far, usually the biggest problem is getting the bios to boot from the flash drive. Also at that point you can try turning it off then on, or try turning your 360 on when you turn your pc on. Hope this helps let us know.

I had the same problem, it was because I picked the wrong controller when creating the iPrep flash drive.
I booted into Windows normally with my hard drive connected to the SATA controller I wanted to use. I went into system manager and disabled every other hard drive controller. This eliminated all but one choice for controller in the iPrep menu.
Then when flashing the firmware I just used the SATA connection my hard drive was using. It detected instantly.

Do you're motherboard was obviously capable of flashing the 360, and you didn't need the via card? That's definitely pretty convenient.

My motherboard has an nForce controller onboard, but that was in addition to two other controllers in the iPrep menu and they were all listed very generically so it was hard to tell which to select.

Alot of motherboards are capable of flashing, my old computer and my new one were both capable the old one had a via chipset (not sure which specific one), and my new one uses an Nforce i think its a 9 or 6 i forget.

yeah, i know a lot were capable, mine wasn't. I wish it was, but oh well, 20 bucks and 3 days later I was fine with my via card.

Ok I'm getting an error message when I try to make my usb stick bootable on iprep.
It says
Windows - Drive Not Ready
Exception Processing Message c00000a3 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 756bf9c.
Cancel, Try Again, Continue
trying again does nothing, the first time I tried this it also came up and I pressed continue and then it went through all the motions like everything is fine
Could this be why it's not working?
Also I have other sata ports on my mobo, but not via, I think maybe nforce, iprep says the other sata ports are dosflash compatible but not mtkflash. Should I use the mobo ones or the pci card ones?

My flash drive worked after the "drive not ready" message.
Pick a SATA controller and boot with your hard drive connected to it to eliminate the possibility of connected the DVD drive to the wrong port.
I'm told VIA or nForce will work.

I spent 3 hours trying to get my flash drive to work because I thought that "drive not ready" was the problem. I hope you don't waste as much time as I did.

Still not working. This time I tried the regular way, still didn't work. Then I tried the patch mtkflash option on iprep and redid the usb stick, still nothing. Then I tried a different port on the pci card, still nothing, then I redid my usb with dosflash to point towards my mobo sata ports and plugged it into one of those, but still nothing. :[
