Hey, first post here, but I've came to afterdawn a lot over the past few years and found what I was looking for. Okay, so what I wanted to ask is if anyone has hooked up their Bell Expressvu receiver to their capture card on their computer. I've got a capture card I had planned on hooking up to my receiver through the S-video connection. I have had problems with Media Center working properly with receivers before, and not detecting things properly, etc. Is there anything special I should be doing when hooking this stuff up? Someone who has perhaps gone through this process with a similar receiver might know? I'm somewhat unfamiliar with the process of doing this, I don't know if there will be a channel guide that pops up, or just the video feed from the satellite, either way is good, I just need it for nights like tonight where I'll be out, and unable to watch the Oiler game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
