CRC check, really necessary?

Hey Guys,

I was wondering, is the CRC check of Xdvdmulleter realy necessary to be on the safe side?

Some games aren't in the database so i can't check them.

i never use it, but then again, i dont have the net at home so it wouldnt work anyways.

i never use it either, and i go on live basically every day. been doing it for 8 months now, even playing games i was advised not to play. still no probs, so either im lucky, or checking it is a waste of time. some people swear by it, i've used it once, first game i ever burnt.
