Hello,
I have a huge problem. I played Metal Gear Solid 4 on my PS3, which was my first MG ever, and I want to play Metal Gear Solid 1 on my PSP now. The problem however is that I just can't get it working.
I'm on CFW 4.01 M33-2, and I have no clue about what Popsloader I'm using. I'm a real n00b concerning PSX on PSP.
I had a multi-disc EBOOT.PBP file that didn't start on Disc 1, but it did when I chose restart game with Disc 2. Problem was that, when I tried to acually play MGS1, it asked for Disc 1 and I was basically screwed.
Another problem was the sound, I looked at the Mission Briefing on Disc 2 (this was possible), but the sound was tearing, is there a solution for that?
So it comes down to this:
-I have CFW 4.01 M33-2 and I want to play MGS.
-I have no clue what sort of Popsloader I'm using so please tell me more about that (and please provide links).
-I heard about single-disc use and only multi-disc use for the switching part, is that a good solution for the sound tearing?

There's a couple of mds1 games floating around that won't work with newer cfw like what you are on even with the latest popsloader.
There is a newer torrent floating around that has both disks combined into one eboot and works flawlessly. Although you still want to make sure you're popsloader is updated so you can do the controller switch later on. I'll send you a pm about it.
