PSP lock/chains/links icon locks button problem

I just asked this on Gamefaqs, but they've been unreliable sometimes, so this is hopefully the right place to ask this.

My psp showed me a icon on the middle of the screen that looked kinda like a link/chain/lock or something, and now I cannot move in the psp. I don't know if I held a button by accident or something else similar.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and know how to fix this? Please help!

And just so anyone knows I did not push down the power button to hold position, as I restarted my psp and it's still having the same issue.

it has the normal lock icon for hold right?

if so the the hold has somehow got stuck to on even if it isnt

when you hold the power up to reset the psp does the lock go or does it stay there?

It has only shown me that weird lock/chains icon once. It shows nothing when I turn it on or off normally.

This is very frustrating, seeing as I just got it back from Sony fixed, and now the buttons (or some of them?) are locked.

I'm very confused as to what I can do, but I want it to work again really badly.

right as i thought the lock is stuck i dont know how but just try moving it about until the lock comes off
