every time i try and burn a dvd through dvd shrink i get this error code
1A23-*serial number removed by creaky*

There's a few problems here rock6964
One that will cause you no end of grief for many apps, is the fact there's virtually no memory left to move with. All resources are practically taken and other programs must be running as the memory in use is a whopping 79%. Just put those two together and they spell problems. The media you're using is not the best either.
To be honest, lets start from the top. What programs are you using to rip the dvd? Shrink wont do it alone. Post as much info as you can about how you go about things.

DVDShrink and nero cannot do all what you need...at all.
At the top of this page, click on the Guides tab. There you will find the programs suggested and the methods on how to use them.
We'll fix the "other" problems after.
