I am currently running my PSP on firmware 5.00 M33. and when i try to play the metal gear solid 1 psx eboot on my PSP only disc 2 works. Disc one gets past the ps1 logo and then the screen just goes blank.

Could anyone please help me resolve this issue.

ok just downloadthis...
i packed in all the pops so its ready...
all you have to do is drag everything inside...
the folder thats named
"popsloader
pops.txt
and posploader.prx"
you drag those three into the seplugins foler in the root of your memory stick...
after you do that poer off your psp hold R and go into recovery mode...
then go to seplugins activate popsloader then go go back to the game you want to start...
but when start the game from the psp xmb fress and hold R or L?
then a list of popsloaders should come out, and try all of them until you find one that works.
let me know if it works...
sorry if my instructions suck , but im kinda horrible at giving long instructions

Its me and im here...so yea thats all i wanted to say

i made a folder called seplugins and activated the popsloader in the recovery menu but when starting up a ps1 game i hold R and the menu with the popslaoders does not come up. do you have any suggestions.

Also i have just realised that none of my psx ebooots are currently working on this new firmware.

I had a quick look at some other websites and alot of them have been talking about a
Quote:
PSARDumper for 4.01
and a file called
Quote:
impose.prx
just wondering if they had anything to do with the problem.

yea all of that is used to make the popsloaders...

ok so you activated the plugin, and you held "R" immediately after the game started right?
you didnt hesitate at all correct?
hmmm did you update your 5.00 m33 to the latest patch??
i beleive its 5.00m33-2??
becasue the popsloader i believe only works with the newest patch

I found that metal gear solid 1 works best with the 3.71 pops.

im not sure if the game play runs normally as the psx eboot i downloaded crashes once you try to start a new game.
