Determining Which Version of iXtreme

A friend of mine who recently left overseas on a military mission sold me his soft-modded Xbox-360 system. It seems to be workin fine and everything else, but I've been reading about different versions of the soft-mod/iXtreme available out there.

Is there a way to determine what version of iXtreme I have?
Moreover, is there a way to upgrade my soft-modded X-360 system in the event I have an older/earlier version of iXtreme.

By the way, what is the current/most recent version of iXtreme available?

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't recall there being a way to see what iXtreme is installed. The latest version of iXtreme is 1.4 (1.41 for BenQ drives). You will probably want to upgrade to the latest, just to be safe.

Yeah, I don't think you can just check to see which version. You might as well just upgrade to the latest version, just in case.
