i got the one red light and the guy that sold me the xbox isn't responding, so can anyonje guide me through it if possible, or can i just send it to someone.

This error message guide says it is...

E74: There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement (see error 0102)

i tried with a different a/v cable and still a no-go. i'm not gonna chance the xclamp thing again. do u know how to do it, or know someone that knows how to do it (xclamp).

i'm not doin that thing anymore i think that's how i messed up my other xbox

The xclamp fix is most likely not going to help. This is because the problem is not occuring in your gpu or cpu, which is what the x-clamp is fixing. Did you try any research on this at all? When googling this i found tons of information on how it is the ANA/HANA chip (just got this error this week), which in order to fix i believe you would need to resolder the chip. Your best bet is to find someone with a flow table, i saw someone advertising these repairs on ebay, and on here. The guy on here said he just got his and wanted to test it out.

i had that problem playing cod4 so i put pressure on the ana chip and let it run for like 15 minutes(finger might get sore) then shut it off and still appiled pressure for 8 mins and it been working for over a month now

google it

and get 11 pennies and tape them up with electical tap and put it on the ana chip then put the white flow cover (what ever it is) back over it then let it run and do what i said in the last post

it worked for me
