Both of these needs the 1.50 kernel to run. Slim or Fat ?

try updating the n64 emulator to whatever cfw you have or update your cfw to 5.00 now that DA has released the 1.50 addon for phats and get the latest Daedalus R-14beta also check your recovery menu and make sure your running your games with the right kernel version and they are in the correct gamexxx folders although i just put everything in game and run time machine for whatever version of homebrews i need to be running them from

well you should be updated enough to run the emulators but i would update if i was you anyway just to make them that much more compiatable atleast to 3.90 his site is www.dark-alex.org and you can get the updated firmwares and 1.50 kernel addons here http://alek.dark-alex.org/filez/dax/ and as for the latest nintendo 64 emulators check here http://pspupdates.qj.n.et/tags/Daedalus/601

first check your m33 recovery menu and make sure you running games with the 3.xx kernel and not the 1.50 addon, then pick one of the 3 latest Daedalus that you see at quickjump by StrmnNrmn, Captain Morgan, or wally couldn't tell you which one is better, extract them and put them in your /psp/game/ folder and try running it; if it still gives your the game could not be started error then try updating to a later cfw atleast 3.90 and up though i recommend going to 5.00 M33-2 or M33-3 will be released in a few days.

as for the DS emulator i haven't been able to get this to load on my slim with the 1.50 addon or any other firmwares so i cant help you there even though both emulators are rather buggy still anyway.

well im not sure which one you grabbed like i said there are 3 r-14betas and the one i use lets me choose which emulator engine i want to use and other video settings to help speed it up so yea you can but its not a vast improvment the only game the runs close to full speed is mario 64
