I have a psp1001(fat) and the joystick has been acting funny. Bought a new joystick and still kind of off. after looking at it close, I see there is a rubber piece with 4 copper wires for the actual control. Mine is worn out and I can't seem to find one to purchase or even what I'm supposed to type in for lack of what it is called. Can someone point me in the right direction here. Thanks.

im abit useless on repair parts but you might want to try and go to acidmods.com and ask the modders and fixers there. They are seriously good help. Acidmods also do repair parts for all consoles so go there and see whats available. If its not there you can even request for it.
