Problem "To play this game put it on 360 console"

Hi,
I have a friend who just bought his Xbox360 and modded the box. Now, I gave him some of my games (that are working on my Xbox360) but when he tries to play them on his console, he gets the follwoing message:
"To play this game put it on 360 console"
Now, what could be the problem since this is happening to backed-games but works with originals.
Could anyone help me or indicate where the problem could be? we have tried more than 10 games and still same issue.

hi i had this prob to when i flashed my 360. it seemed to work after i reflashed it so give that a try. hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, I will try this way and see what I did wrong. it's maybe because I use Memorex (which are working in my XBOX) and now I will try Verbatim!

Definetly do not use memorex. Well, for me they never work. Anyhow I got the error you mentioned only when I screwed up my flash. I was swapping from one sammy to another and never put the original key in the iextreme firmware. Once I did, they played fine.
Oh I forgot to add that burnt memorex would play on several of my flashed 078 and older hitachi's but never on any of my samsungs. I will never use anything but Verbatim from now on. I found them for a decent price for 15.

yeah. It's most likely one of three issues.
1. Dvd drive is going bad (unlikely but possible. You can rule this out of other games play fine on there)
2. Bad media (if this is not the source of the problem, it is definitely contributing to it). I only use verbatims, and would recommend to only use verbs.
3. Bad Flash - If in the end, just no backup will work, just do the flashing process all over again. It can't hurt it. Might as well try it.
More than likely, it is both 2 and 3.

C4RN1... I am curious if you made the "edit" image so large to compensate for other inadequacies you may have.
Did the double post really upset you? Did you have to take a double dose of meds to keep from beating your wife or didling your children? Keep in mind mister that some of us were programming computers when you were still in diapers.

wow calm down there buddy, the pic is the same size as a screen shot, if you had a decent resolution it wouldn't be that big.
Yes the help i offer is genuine, we try to keep it looking clean and organized on this forum... believe me i will use that pic in other places on this forum as it is needed

COSMIN100... sorry your post has gone to hell in a hand basket. If you are still having problems with your discs you can pm me and I will help you in detail(finding the right threads or asking the right questions) instead of creating stupid buttons and telling you to do another search, as if you haven't tried that already...(got to stick up for us newbs) hope to hear from you soon.
