I've only recently started looking at PSP's, and they look like great fun, being able to play psx games on them is a huge plus, however with the mass amounts of threads here, its pretty hard to search through them all and get a definitive answer..
Before i order one, what should i get? I want to get a slim, and i assume there is no problem 'breaking' in to those?
I dont want to buy one which i can only play official games on, i want to revisit my PSX collection!
Red God of WarPSP, Daxter Silver PSP and the Piano black PSP 2000s are generally safe. The ones you want to avoid are the new 3000s, that come bundled with Ratchet and Clank, and also the Madden Blue PSPs. The early blue ones can be modded, but the later ones can't.
But yeah, I find myself playing the PSX classics more and more with my PSP. Brave Fencer Musashi, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross and Gundam Battle Assault 2 are on my PSP right now.
