Benq 1655 External Dvd Burner Help

I have a BenQ 1655 external dvd burner that runs firmware BCHB. I insert a Memorex DVD+R DL disk into it and attempt to burn the .dvd file to it through IMGBurn. I have tried 3 times and each time it stops at 50% and gives me an error that says "Invalid Writing Address". Now I have 3 questions:

What is Qsuite? Do I need it?

Will Verbatim disks work?

Are the Memorex DVD's to blame?

Also if someone could guide me through setting it up for burning so I can make sure I have everything correct please do!
