FIRST OF ALL! I HAVEN'T STARTED YET!, Right NOW my wii is opened.
I been looking for on how to do this exactly and YES I have experienced on how to mod wii drive boards.

OK! I heard of the 3 legs cut #7,8,9. But I want to know WHY/HOW its cut. I do know you have to point 3 on leg 5:




but do i have to cut the 3 legs OR what!

No you do not cut anything. What they mean by 3 cut legs is that there are some D2B boards which Nintendo cut 3 legs off of the IC to stop mods or just make it a more difficult job. If the 3 legs are cut then you will have to shave off the top of the IC to reveal the contacts.

If the legs are not cut then just solder like normal.

If you do not want to shave off the top of the IC then you can always buy another chip which does not use those points.
