updating a modded ntsc-u with a pal game

I recently received a pal game(littlest pet shop) that has an update, my wii is ntsc-u but region free thanks too my d2pro v2 mod chip(have already played pal game backups) but I dont want to brick my system when I update can anyone tell me if
(1) updating will brick my system
(2) What game new games have updates for ntsc-u
(3) Where to get a download for wii brickblocker

If anyone can help I would be greatly appreciated thanks
