HP DVD Play BD Digital Sound Problem

Just recently purchased a Q6770 HP Desktop computer. I have a digital coax running to my av receiver and cannot get Digital sound from any blu ray movie. HD-DVD and standard DVDs playback in digital but BD does not. The previews however will playback in digital 5.1.

Anyone have any ideas? I reinstalled the audio drivers. HP's tech support had no idea what I was talking about.

I would try a different Media Player. ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre is the one I use. It has no problem sending digital audio to my receiver.

Anywhere I can download a free trial with bd-playback? I would like to give it a try before I would invest 90$.
