i have 3.71 m33 and i want to upgrade to higher cfw but i dont know what is the highest cfw there is.
does the new cfw works as simple as the 3.71(all u have to do is to put the iso/cso in the iso folder and that is all) or u have to download more things to make games work?

(I HAVE A PSP FAT)
please give me a link to download the cfw u tell me about.

thank u very much

Well, the laest firmware is 5.00m33 :)
I'm using 4.01m33-2 and it's stable :)
I dunno about 5.00m33 >_>

Well, yeah :)
You'll juz have to put the .iso games in the ISO folder :)
No extra utility needed :)

http://alek.dark-alex.org/filez/dax/ also http://www.pspupdates.com has a nice collect of PSP content even though sometimes they make mistakes or are a tad slow on retrieving updates.
and I'm running the latest 5.00 M33-3 and i can say that it is stable and the only things new is accessing the PSN Store for buying games or downloading free themes and demos and the google search is added to the networks menu to save you 3.5 seconds from going to the internet browser that and all the best plugins and homebrew get updated to work for the new CFW so they usually add something new
Although we are still waiting on new 5.00 themes for CXMB so if you care for the nice themes that change your game boots stick to 4.01 for now

Please note that Shaggy is right. It's 5.00 M33-3. A lot of bugs were fixed from the regular 5.00 M33 version.

And yes ISO/CSO's work fine under Sony NP9660

I would like to say I really don't condone playing downloaded psp games that you have not purchased being Sony still makes bank off those. It hurts the development of future games and products. If you play the game and like it, plz be cool about it and purchase the game.

You know I give you the mad, phat, superfly, stupid-dope, dumb-ass, retarded, bomb-sh*t props!
What else do you want from me!?!

Dark_Alex...mad love and thanks for giving this community so much and asking for so little.

I've only done one M33 upgrade and it was 5.00 M33 to M33-3. It was right when it came out and I can't remember if i needed the 500.pbp. Pretty sure I didn't but i really can't say one way or the othre.

However...

If you just throw it in there anyway it can't hurt anything. So just do so and update that baby. :)

Enjoy 5.00 M33-3.

Cheers

you need it for 5.00 M33 and you can do it manually or try downloading it from the M33 network update and then you can skip M33-2 and go straight to 5.00 M33-3 and you wont need 500.pbp for it.
