delete contents of MMS after flashing??

hello

i was just curious as if i could delete the contents of the MMC after i flashed it with cfw? will it hurt anything? thanks

I'm unsure as to what contents your referring to or what you mean by MMC since it can mean a couple things like a SD/MMC memory stick/adapter or Magic Memory Card/Stick and either case i would have to say you can format anything as long as you have a backup in case something goes wrong so its easy to replace...
