The first thread I made was a discussion on PSX to PSP conversion tools. Unfortunately the only person to reply was ShaggyZE (thx shaggy).
I was so disappointed at the extreme lack of replies on the original thread that I took it upon myself to do the research and testing on these programs. Over the last couple days I finally arrived at the conclusion that RS-GUI PopStationMD is probably the best PSX to PSP converter out there BUT it shouldn't be the only one in your arsenal! Read below for more information :)
Below is a breakdown of the 4 converters and what was good/bad/desirable about each one.

PSX to PSP Conversion Program List
----------------------------------
1.IceTea
2.Simple Popstation GUI
3.PSX2PSP
4.RS-GUI PopStationMD
********************************
1) IceTea was...ok. Average. Decently built. Nothing special as far as user friendliness goes. It did lack a pre-built game list with game codes which was a little disappointing, however it did have an auto-name detect that did populate a game code for you.
The big downer was lack of a mutli-cd function for games with multiple discs. Major turn off for me as I like having one eboot with all the discs in there.
Very bland and didn't have a lot of thought when designed as far as location of things went.
This one got a 4/10 from me.
2) Simple Popstation GUI didn't impress me at first. But the more I played with it the more I liked it. Pretty user friendly. I really liked how it auto populated the game title field based on the name of the iso/bin/img. Then you click search and got the best results.
Finally, the MAIN reason this one is staying with me is the fact it converts .PBP's back to .ISO's (this was the first program I realized that you could do this on.) That mixed with the other features makes it a keeper.
The only draw back to this is the lack of a multi-cd feature. If it had it, this might very well be my new fave.
(Oh, PS, the lower left button thing made me actually laugh out loud. I suggest checking it out.)
Initially I was only going to give this a 5/10.
After reviewing it, i give it an 8/10
3) PSX2PSP had some really nice options in it. And I liked the whole idea of multiple modes. The "theme" version starts up in like a preview mode of what the game looks like when selecting it from your mem card. This allows you to see your artwork prior to making the game. Next was "classic" which was a straight forward "point me to the files i need" mode. Finally there's batch mode which is like a super conservative bare minimum mode.
The PSX2PSP GUI also supported extracting ISO's from PBP's.
However it doesn't support multi-cd functions and the user interface just isn't quite up to par with Simple GUI.
Finally, the big hurt from this is the fact that it requires you to provide certain files such as BASE.PBP.
Had it not required files from the user it would have gotten a 7.
Overall, I give it a 5/10.
4) Finally there's RS-GUI PopStationMD. This was the winner of the 4. The main reason is multi-cd support. You tell it how many discs and where they're at and it makes one nice neat eboot file.
The user interface was a little busy but simple to follow.
I liked the pop-up preview mode when customizing the boot file's opening graphics a lot.
However the big drawback is the documentation tab is very incomplete. I downloaded some pre-made .dats and couldn't get them to load in. About the only option is to create it with pre-made pngs. On a plus note it'll make the .dat for you if you provide the pngs and kick it into the folder on eboot creation.
Other then that, this is the one of choice.
Ifthey decide to classy up the very limited documentation part of the program, this thing would get a solid 10/10.
But for now it has to settle for a 9/10.
End assessment: RS-GUI PopStationMD for your creation needs. It handles the multi-discs, has a good interface and a very respectable customization preview.
However, if you really need to rip an ISO out of an eboot, I'd go with Simple Popstation GUI.
Both are very user friendly, well designed, and I haven't had too many problems arise from either.
Hopefully this helps some people out there who are wondering about PSX to PSP conversions :)
I know I learned a ton.

You probably didn't get much replies because this has been covered numerous times in previous threads.
You should have researched on the subject before creating your original thread.
So no reason to be disappointed with lack of replies.
