my x-box wont play any of my games except call of duty 4 this started a week ago it will play movies. please help thanks

Sounds like your laser is dying, if its not modded and still under warranty send it back. Otherwise you may have to change the laser, or have someone do it for you. I'm pretty sure there are alot of ppl on these forums that will do these things. You could call m$ and have them replace it for you but will cost you about 100 (probably plus shipping), most likely you can get it done cheaper but it will void your rrod warranty.

thx for the reply the warranty is up where do i get a new laser or can i sub it with just any laser ie from dvd or coumputer
