hey guys/gals

i just got a modded xbox with a nme chip installed. i went with this chip because a good friend of mine has it and has been backing up games without a problem for a while.

my question is i dont want to rely on my friend to always make me my back ups problem is i have a laptop. maybe its not a problem can i use a external reader to read the game and an external dl burner to burn the image.

if so what do you recommend?

yes you can backup with a laptop. Please search, you can find all your answers in here, But you'll need a kreon drive to read the games you rip, and any dual layer burner really

thanks for the reply... i did see an external samsung drive that has the firmware already flashed. now its a matter of what brand external dual layer burner to use. any suggestions?

like I said, it really doesn't matter. I just had picked up any dvd burner at the store and I got it to work fine. Others have their preferences. If you already have an internal dual layer burner, just go with that to try it out.
