I thought when DVD Shrink was used to backup a duel layer DVD, it would remove the slight pause in the movie on the single layer backup? But I've noticed that I still have a slight pause on my single layer backups in the exact same spot where the layer change occurs on my original Duel Layer disc.
Also, I was wondering if there is a website or software program that will tell me by a timecode of where in the movie that the layerchange occurs on all movie DVDs?
I've been burning movies for years and i think i've only ever seen the layer break pause on the earliest (original) dvd's ie haven't seen it occur on discs in donkey's years..
To clarify i have never burnt any dual layer discs but as i say i haven't seen a pause on even originals in many years.
I'm with Creaky, I've not seen a layer break in so long I almost forgot they exist. Normally the layer break only comes into play when you're recording a DVD9 (DL). For getting the layer break right on DL disc I use ImgBurn. In Shrink, under Edit, Preferences, Output Files there is a selection for removing the layer break. I forget if that is a default setting or not. So, you may want to check it.
