if i made two of the extra features into still pictures what does that do...and would the dvd still work as normal with the menu and everything?i tried re-authoring but no luck the movie wouldnt play it went straight from the menu to extra features

1st, you cant reauthor and keep working menus. Yes, if you make the extras still pictures, everything will work. You can even play those extras, they look like a slide show.
