try to get around paying $100 for the xbox wireless adapter. I have a coupe of routers and had thought I could make one into a wireless access point to hardwire my x-box too. Can this be done? I have tried everythign I can think of and can't get it to work. Any ideas?

That will work. I put my router into a repeater mode and wire it into xbox.

Yeah it does work but it is really hard to do this as the back can sometimes only respond to the wireless part etc.
