I bought facebreak and monopoly, and it say I need to apply the game update before I can play the games.

Will this screw up my modded console? just wonder. Thanks

Do it at your own risk, but it's usually fine. I'm flashed and connected to Live and always do the updates. So do most people.

hello, i just bought a 360 tha t has a date of manufacture of july 2008. can i mod this 360 or would this one have the lite-on drive that is unable to be modded?

yes, game updates are different than dashboard updates. Game updates are safe. It's the dashboard updates you need to watch out for.

since this is a new dashboard update, does anybody know if there are any problems with modded firmware, am i free to go ahead and do it and still not only play backups. but play backups online?

i'd appreciate any help
