Im Buying a new psp soon and I have a bunch of my psx games already converted to eboots. I was wondering, however, if there are original psp games that I can use in the same way as psx eboots? If that makes sense. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Ive been using the hot swap method on my PSOne for a while now. Does anyone know if this can screw up my console.

you mean putting your psp games into your memory stick?
yeah you can do that...
but you need custom firmware...
look around this website in the guides or something...
or type in UPMS in the search bar...
once you have custom firmware you can put isos in your memory stick and play the game from the memory stck

you will need the custom firmware for the psx eboots too, and no hot swapping will not damage your psone as long as you do it right and quick but its better if you get a psx boot cd or mod chip because these cause less ware and tear if you are doing messy hot swaps

With regards to custom firmware, you MUST remember to create a folder called ISO to put your .ISO and .CSO games in

doesn't formatting the memory stick with the psp make all the folders? or does it not make /ISO/

No, of course not as this folder is only for homebrew .iso files so why on earth would sony add this folder?

actually if you already have custome firmware, and you format it while you have custom firmware it will make the iso folder...

plus sony made the Sony NP9660 to be able to load iso without umd so they had plans for downloading games and loading iso's without umds. so i would imagine they needed the /ISO/ folder too and i dont think custom firmware made the search function for psp to find .iso and .cso in /ISO/ that was probably sony's idea; is it only custom firmwares that make all the folders? i don't have a official psp to try with...

yup, only a psp with CFW makes all the folders, you cant make one with the unmodded psp.
