Hello to all. I hope there is some help here. I have a Toshibadvd that went bad in my xbox 360. I went on leave from here in kuwait and when I returned, tried to eject my dvd but nothing happened. I read that if I buy the same dvd I can replace the board into the new dvd all will be good. I tried this, removed the board from both, put old board in new drive and walah, it didn't work. SO, I tried the NEW board in the old drive and WALAH the door opened, but recieved the screen message, this is a dvd game bla bla bla. My problem seems to be a defective board. Anybody know how I can fix this. It gets really boring out here, any help is really appreciated. I would even go as far as sending the boards to someone to flash for me and I would pay a bit for that.
Thanks,
sgtbe

hey man there are three guys that i can think of off of the top of my head that could help you out with that pcb board. homesick, bhetrick, and wabashman. last i knew they all still flashed drives and did repairs for members of this site for a much more reasonable rate than anywhere around.
Donaldo, there was no flashing of anything or any mod'ing at all. I was warned by my wife not to break the 360 open. It was still original. I only opended it because it was not under warranty. So I thought I'd crack it open to just replace the dvd. NOGO!
noproblem- Thanks for the info, anyway to get hold of any of them?
Thanks
