psp cfw 3.9 m-33-3 won't read .mp4 videos

I have a psp slim with custom firmware 3.90 M33-3, I don't know if it makes any difference but it would absolutely not read the videos I put into it! lol I've tried many different converters just to make sure but it won't work. The files I'm trynna put in it are .mp4 format and they are going into the X:\MP_ROOT\100MVN01 folder but when I go to video and memory card it says there is no videos. I don't get it. I wanna watch videos on my psp, thank you for your time.

try putting them in X:/VIDEO/ or use PSPVC 3.10

Or use PMplayer advance (google it).

It's not as fussy as psp's native player and it doesn't matter where you place the video files as long as you know how to navigate to them.

It works well for me!
