psp model 1001 fat

i have pandora battery and magic memory stick but i hold left trigger when inserting pandora with magic mem stick in and green light is on
and no activity from screen and mem stick led indicator until battery runs out i have tried different button combos still no luck and different magic mem stick programs no luck and also my pandora battery passes tests but it also can boot my system for some reason?
