Hi,

I have copied the files to the game folder on my psp but get a message that the game could not be started when i try to run it from the memory card on the psp.

Probably sound like a real noob but how do you install CWCheats and use it?

When i go into the memory stick on the psp there is a picture of the installer like you get with any other game but it won't run?

Any help would be appreciated.

ok well first cwcheat is not installed like a game and doesnt go in /psp/game/ cwcheat is a plugin and should have a folder /cwcheat/ that goes into X:/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat/ and then in game.txt and pops.txt you have to add ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheat.prx for game and ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheatpops.prx for pops and make sure they are enabled in the recovery menu hold R trigger and reset then in the menu go to plugins now there is a dbdownload for cwcheat to update that goes in the /GAME/ folder but if that doesn't load because of "game could not be started" you may have another problem altogether like your umd iso mode or needing to upgrade your firmware

Got a question:

I am playing Star Wars Force Unleashed and when i hold select and get the menu there are no codes available for this game, when i press x on the manual entry option nothing happens.

When i play older games like Final Fantasy Tactics there are codes available, how do you add codes for newer games and use them?

you can download the cwcheat database manually at there website or even download there homebrew app that will download it with wifi from your psp either way works http://cwcheat.consoleworld.org/
