Nintendo has noted that they had shipped about 200,000 DSi units in anticipation of the Japanese launch of the console on Saturday. The updated handheld is selling for JPY 18,900, the equivalent of $179 USD in the country. Knowing nintendo and how often they make a new model for da handhelds like da gameboy its good to have waited until something worthwhile came by

Still no bluetooth...so GPS apps that would use a bluetooth GPS antenna won't work. No cell phone integration. No listening to your NDS through a bluetooth headphone. None of the other stuff really excites me. Oh, and I understand you lose GBA backwards compatibility.
