Hi everyone.
i am having troubles and would really appreciate some advice.

I have got a hitachi 047 drive to replace an old one.
I get the drive into mode b,dump the firmware with firmware toolbox,
insert the drive key from my old drive,create patched firmware

I then select direct drive flash,i then select differential (patch)

select my hitachi drive,select detect differences, it asks me if i want to keep the keys already on the drive and i select no.
it gives me a list of sectors.

I select start flashing and thats when i get the message"cannot communicate with drive . make sure its visible in windows".

i really am lost.
Ive tried differnt versions of fw toolbox from 4 up to 4.8.
same result.
Can some one please help me?

By the way ive flashed many hitachis before on this pc with my via sata card with no problem but never replaced a drive or flashed a drive other than a 78 in fwtb.cheers.
