Flashing xbox 360 drive - My HP Won't Boot From Floppy

I'm trying to flash my samsung drive, and my hp computer won't boot from a usb. I called and HP said that none of their BIOS are set up to boot from a USB??? Is there any other way to load this information off the USB and continue on to finish the flash process??

Why don't you install dos to a small hdd (or format that few megs that crapdoze always leaves unused for no obvious reason to fat32) and boot from that by editing the boot.ini file? That's how I do it.. very fast and easy, but no pretties and no safety net.

If that would work i would love to do it. But I'm no programmer, and formatiing the fat32 and editing the boot.ini file, sounds a little out of my realm, but I can do anything if shown how to do it bro!!

Partition and format left over space fat32 .. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php

copy windows98 boot floppy files to partition.. http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm

Edit boot.ini to give dos/windows boot option.. http://vlaurie.com/computers2/Articles/bootini.htm

It should be on a bootable CD image.. you usually can't mess with partitions while an os like windoze is running.

if you've bought a new drive, you'll definitely have to flash it when you get it in order to play games on it.

Hello.Had ame problem and fixed it. I bought a card reader and a micro sd memory card.I installed the iprep on it and I went into bios and found the memory card with a name (not usb) something I didnot understand .Made it boot from there first and successfully modded my 360.
