I have a slim psp with firmware 4.01m33-2

Hi, i'm having some troubles with custom long gameboots, I downloaded it and placed it on PSP/FLASH0/VSH/RESOURCE along with the opening_pluging.rco for 4.01m33.

However...when i tried out my gameboot, it lasted only a few seconds (bout 2 seconds) and then freeze up and finishes, then boots up the game. Does anyone know how to extend gameboots play time?

You cant extend the time of a gameboot.
Cintros can be up to 1:15 long though.

Gameboots can be extended.

Get RCO Editor by ZiNgA BuRgA.

Open the opening_pluging.rco file,

Click on the "Anim Data" tab,

Scroll down to "anim_gameboot_movie@0x1F58",

Then look for the third "[0x907] Delay",

Click on it then click on the numbers you see on the right hand side,

Then click on Change and enter a new number and hit OK.

You'll have to play with the numbers some to get the .PSP to play your gameboot.

Here's the one I made a while back.

The included opening_pluging.rco works on 3.90M33 and 4.01M33.
I can't get to work on 5.00M33. :(

I tried what you suggested and tried to change a few numbers, but my gameboot still freezes midway. i tried value 700, 750,800 and 4750. 4750 does improve the gameboot duration a bit. Thanx

I think those numbers are to small.

Did you try out my gameboot?

mm..i tried some other massive values like 30k...but...i kinda got the gameboot repeated like 3 times. Whats the best value to last for only 5-7 seconds?

Like I said you'll have to play around with the numbers.

Try around 4800 or so.
