I've read soo many posts about how drives don't read backups ect.
and got few questions:
1st the specs:
Gonna flash my xbox 360(gonna give it to a pro) and i have a lg HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H42N which should burn dvd dl's. got a toshiba samsung ms25 or ms28 no idea.
now questions.
1. Is that dvd drive good for burn 360 games or should i change
2. What speed should i burn
3. Are 2.4x verbatiam dvd+R dls the best
4. If my drive goes bad how can i change it??

1) You should be fine with it as long as it can burn DL. Worse comes to worse buy a $30 burner and you are good to go.
2) I burn at the fastest speed on any thing all day long but that is me your results may vary so test out different settings
3) Any Verbatims are "best"
4) Make sure you get your 360's ORIGINAL internal DVD serial/firmware from the modder so you have a backup plan to inject it into another drive if needed

Can't say as it could be a number of things

1) Bad disc drive or laser altogether
2) Bad image file
3) Bad burn
4) Bad disc

I would wait until you see the modder and ask him for his opinion. Either way it could be a simple fix by cleaning or just replacing the laser?

i don't understand is the serial like a key, cause i read around and heard that each 360 has it own ddrive key which matches its seriel. So tomorrow i should ask him for the firmware ana .txt file with the serial key. Am i close??
